Quality and Compliance

Applikon equipment is rigorously tested during manufacturing and the in-house verification process. Quality documentation is supplied with our systems upon installation. We ensure this documentation is ready to use for your own validation and qualification process.
The Applikon Service team can assist you from the start of your project in defining your specific requirements. Our experts in the bioreactor field make sure all specifications are realistic and achievable.
Tailored to your needs, we assist with Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), commissioning, Site Acceptance Test (SAT), and IV/OV. Make your life easier with support from Applikon Service.

Standard Service

Our standard service means Applikon equipment is guaranteed for one year after delivery against defective materials and workmanship.

All components are covered by this warranty, except consumable items (e.g. glassware, sensors, and gaskets, etc.). Unauthorized disassembly of equipment voids the warranty. Trained Applikon service technicians support you with fast and reliable service, whenever and wherever you need it.

Extended Warranties

Is one year too short for your warranty period? Good news!

Applikon and Resea Biotec can offer you an extra 4 years warranty. During this period, our Applikon factory-trained service technicians will ensure the equipment is maintained so you can focus on bioprocesses with no worries.

Our 5 Year Service Plan comes with:

One year standard warranty from date of delivery, with an extra 4 years, making the total warranty 5 years.
An Applikon factory-trained service technician who visits your site one year after initial installation. Plus, they will make 3 further annual visits for preventative maintenance.
The Preventative Maintenance visit includes:
- Equipment inspection and replacement of parts.
- Verification of sensor inputs calibration.
- Accuracy checks on mass flow controllers and electronics.
- Travel, working hours and parts.
- Software and firmware updates.
- Bonus 20% discount on Applikon organized training and seminars.
- Priority with customer service requests – we respond to your enquiry within 24 hours!

Installation, Relocation and Retrofitting Services

Installation

On top of our standard Applikon service and Applikon Academy training courses, Resea Biotec offers additional services.

Relocation

We understand your laboratory changes and grows over time. You might need to relocate your bioreactor systems.

Our after-sales support team would be glad to assist! We can relocate your system with minimal downtime plus we test the equipment so you can get straight back to work.

This de- and re-commissioning service includes:

Retrofitting

With Applikon service plans, your bioreactors will last for years. But maybe after a while you want to upgrade certain components.

Controller replacement
Actuator replacement/upgrade
Sensor replacement/upgrades

Replacements help maintain the smooth running of your bioreactor systems for many more years. Upgrades are available at our factory or on-site.

On-Demand Services

We offer many on-demand services to ensure your bioreactor system remains in optimal condition.

We offer the following services:

Preventative Maintenance: a complete annual check of all components, complete with calibration checks and functionality tests for the bioreactor, its control system and its software.
Software support: help in writing advanced control statements and developing control recipes for your bioprocesses.
Non-Applikon Equipment Support: if you need fast, knowledgeable support on non-Applikon bioreactor systems, we are happy to support you when possible.
