We support our customers throughout the entire lifecycle of their bioprocess equipment – from selection and implementation to optimisation and reliable long-term operation. On-site service is a central part of this partnership. To strengthen our service team, we are looking, with immediate effect or by arrangement, for a Field Service Engineer (m/f/d) Bioprocess Technology, 60–100 %

Your role

As a field service engineer, you are a key part of what we promise as a bioprocess technology partner: you combine solid technical work with personal support and make sure our customers can run their systems safely, efficiently and reliably.

Your Responsibilities

  • Installation, commissioning, maintenance, upgrades, calibration and repair of bioreactor systems – at the customer site or via remote support
  • Software and firmware installations and updates, integration of systems into the customer network. Support with fault diagnosis in device communication and network connections, in particular TCP/IP, IP addressing, subnets, LAN/Ethernet
  • Independent planning and coordination of your assignments, including documentation of service visits and SAT, IQ and OQ activities as well as spare parts orders
  • Development and implementation of customer-specific technical solutions, including special parts and individual system modifications
  • Close cooperation with customers, suppliers and our sales and application team

Your profile

  • Completed technical apprenticeship (Swiss EFZ), e.g. as an electronics technician, automation technician, polymechanic, mechatronics technician or similar; further training as a technician HF is an advantage
  • Experience in technical service or field service, ideally with laboratory, analytical or medical technology
  • Good understanding of electronics, mechanics and measurement and control technology
  • Good knowledge of network technology (TCP/IP, IP addressing, LAN, switches) and Windows environments; experience with remote maintenance and industrial protocols (e.g. OPC, Modbus) is an advantage
